Keira Sloetjes Exhibition

Friday 4 October - Friday 29 November

Join us for a powerful and thought-provoking art exhibition created by Keira Sloetjes that shines a light on the resilience of survivors and the importance of healing from domestic violence, family violence, and sexual assault. This impactful exhibition aims to raise awareness about the devastating effects on women, men, and children, while also empowering our community with knowledge about supportive resources and services that foster hope and recovery.

Keira is a talented artist with a talent for realism. In 2020, Keira decided to take control of her life after experiencing years of domestic violence, abuse, and a shattered self-worth. She used this trauma as fuel to gain control and surpass her own expectations. Keira is now the CEO of @desiretosketch and has completed numerous sketch commissions, mixed media artworks, illustrated a children’s book, and painted 7 large-scale murals located in small towns around Australia.
