We'd like to thank you all for your kind support and understanding during the temporary closure of West Gippsland Arts Centre. Our Bookings Office team are currently working through contacting ticket holders regarding date changes and cancellations. It's a mammoth task but they are up for the challenge and we appreciate your patience. They have reported back that they've had some very heart-warming conversations with many of you, and you are keeping them going with your kind words! Thank you!
As you can imagine, for the arts industry, the current climate has had a huge impact and on artists, performers, technicians, theatre companies, musicians and more. We all need the arts in our lives - more now than ever! Art binds us together and helps us to share our stories and bring us experiences we might never have imagined, and we all know that it will help us make it through tough times!
We are working to bring you some special arts content so you can stay connected with each other and with West Gippsland Arts Centre, and most importantly, stay healthy in mind and spirit!

As we have already communicated, your health and the health of all who work at and visit West Gippsland Arts Centre is of paramount importance.
Working closely with our teams at West Gippsland Arts Centre and Baw Baw Shire Council, and in accordance with announcements by the Prime Minister and the Premier regarding required closures of entertainment venues, as of today, Monday 23 March, WGAC will be closed until further notice. We will await advice regarding potential reopening.
For all of you who have purchased tickets to any performances, our Bookings Team will contact you in regards to refunds and exchanges. We are working diligently through these arrangements with show presenters and we kindly ask your patience and understanding in waiting for us to contact you. We will get there!
We also ask you to stay tuned as we are working on a few surprises to keep you entertained and connected via our social media platforms, some of which we might just need your help with! Get ready...

Many of our 2020 Season shows are being sold on third party wesbsites like ViaGoGo at extremely inflated prices. As you can see from this image, at the top we have selected two full price tickets for the show 'Salute to the ANZACs' from ViaGoGo's site. The price for EACH ticket is $86 BEFORE fees and charges! In the bottom of the image, you can see that TWO tickets via our official website and sales portal has a TOTAL cost of $50 for full price tickets ($25 each).
ViaGoGo's total is $172 before fees and charges. Our total is $50 in total. That's a difference of $122! This is for one of our Daylight Entertainment shows.
The inflated cost for more expensive shows is, as you can imagine, insanely higher than this on these third-party ticketing sites.
We strongly urge you to share this information and ONLY buy tickets for shows at WGAC's website unless we directly inform you on our site (some presenters of non-theatre events occasionally, but seldomly, use legitimate third party ticketing sites.)
Remember: only buy from us. We cannot in any way guarantee the legitimacy of any tickets purchased from these or any other sites other than our own. In almost all cases, they will not be honoured.
Remeber to SHARE this information - the same rule applies to almost all entertainment venues. Only buy from legitimate sites and check the link is legitimate when you search for shows on Google etc.
Albert and Smith Restaurant at West Gippsland Arts Centre is now open and you can find out more (opening hours, what's on the menu, contact details etc) at their Facebook page below - Bookings can be made by calling 5624 2559
Hours are: Lunch: 12:00pm to 3:00pm Tuesday to Saturday.
Dinner: Thursday to Saturday 6:00pm to 8.30pm, and also before shows.

When you buy your tickets online you don't have to print them at home... you can show the PDF tickets attached to your purchase confirmation email when you come to a show! Save time, paper and ink. It's so much easier! Remember to save the attachment on your phone and have it ready for our team when you arrive.
Remember, always buy your tickets for shows at WGAC from ourwebsite at www.wgac.com.au - and not from third pary websites!
